Milvus and Vesper - Medical Assistance

I'm trying to get back into drawing #Windsonde things, and I found three unfinished role play sketches on my laptop from back in feb/april time when the war was on. So I'm going to try and finish them to get back into gryphon drawing headspace

this is a scene from a RP back in feb, where Milvus is injured and has re-opened some of her wounds, and Vesper is providing some medical assistance by putting pain-numbing slug slime on her cuts. ..

"<Nambroth>Vesper caarefully, slloooowly leans forward, stretching her neck out to 'whoa birds are weird' levels of long, so that she may gently smear the slug against Milvus's open and visible wounds. The slug's slime is quite thick, viscous, and sticky, and adheres-- thankfully it doesn't seem to sting Milvus's flesh and probably only feels slightly chilly. Far more quickly than she approached, Vesper draws her head back and drops the slug, though a residue of the slime lingers at her beak tip. Mostly none the worse for wear, said slug slowly starts moving away, and seems to be picking the path of least resistance away from Vesper. It really makes one question the intelligence of slugs."

The whole point of these RP doodles was to try and challenge myself to draw poses I wouldn't normally do, in this case a gryph lying down. I'm really not convinced that I've nailed this though, will have to have another go at it >.<
