There finally is the pitter-patter of tiny otter feet at the Scottish Deer Center! These are Ollie and Kiska's four adorable kits, SO CUTE =D

This is my first Critique, so I will do my best.

What I like:

The otters instantly catch my attention, mainly the first is the otter in the middle with his hands on the rock. I find him the most interesting due to his posture. You have close to the center which I feel helps strengthen the picture. The four are almost like posing for a family picture. You eye caught a great moment for a picture.

The color is very vivid, especially the green grass.

What I don't like:

The focus could have been slightly better, but you did a good job. The only one which is slightly out of focus is the one in the back. I am sure it is difficult to get all of them in focus, animals tend to move. It's hard for me to find something wrong with this picture.

Overall, you caught a natural moment, and it looks great. Well done.

I have suggested this amazing work for DD, but it does not seem that it was accepted :( so I at least post this critique, hoping that more people will find your amazing photo through it, appreciating it.

At first, yes, it is extremely cute. Those babies are SO sweet! Their faces are adorable and I love how every single one of them has a bit different pose and face. I think if Disney saw this photo, it would inspire him for a new serial or a movie :D

At second, yes, the quality is perfect.

At third, the composition is very simple, but I think it works very well for this particular photo!

At fourth, I totally love the colours here!

Great work

Just out of curiosity, how old are these pups? A zoo that is kind of close to me has has four small-clawed otter pups and they may be on exhibit in August! I'm reallllly hoping they will be on exhibit before I head back to Montana.

hi DeeOtter! Sorry for the wait for the reply, I hope you got to see the pups =) I don't actually know how old these guys were but I think they were only just starting to venture out of the nest when this was taken =)

:P I think the zoo has had more baby otters since I asked. I'm hoping they'll be out on exhibit in July and I can see them then and they aren't too big.
